1st Annual 4-County CWMA Pull Together
9am – 12pm, February 2nd, 2010 Council Chamber at Metro Regional Center 600 NE Grand Ave., Portland, Oregon
The 4-County Cooperative Weed Management Area (CWMA) is sponsoring this free half-day event as a resource for area land managers and environmental professionals. In the world of invasive species, the landscape can change a great deal in a year, both literally and figuratively. Come and find out what those changes are.The agenda includes a series of presentations, a choice of break-out sessions, a networking period, and a keynote talk by King County’s Sasha Shaw. The event is intended to help build partnerships, share the latest best management practices, and just catch up with each other.
About the 4-County CWMA: The mission of the Clackamas, Clark, Multnomah, and Washington County Cooperative Weed Management Area (informally known as the 4 County CWMA) is to create and support collaborative weed management in the greater Portland area. Because noxious weeds extend across boundaries, effective management depends on effective partnerships.
